active fisherman, birdwatcher or wildlife enthusiast. The waterfront view provides some of the most stunning sunrises
to be found anywhere. In the evening Whitetail deer, feral hogs, and javelina can be seen crossing into the backyard
of the lodge as they come to feed and water. The famous King Ranch is your back yard! It is not uncommon to see
trophy class deer standing less than 25 feet from the back door of the house.
LODGE AMENITIES
Carlos and Jefe's
can comfortably sleep 10 people, however larger parties can be accommodated. A delightful and spacious game room downstairs
has a tiki bar with blender(BYOL), pool table, dart board, ping pong table, checker/chess table, piano, satellite televison,
VCR & DVD player.
Other amenities include a BBQ grill,
Fish fryer, fish cleaning station, oxygen machine to keep your bait alive, full kitchen with dishes and utensils, a utility
room, 2 1/2 baths, upstairs living/dining area, two bedrooms upstairs (one with private bathroom) and tons of room down.
Oh, by the way, did we mention the VIEW? Only a small park separates you
from the fantastic view of the bay. Even though it is not classed as waterfront, the home ought to be as no houses block
those gorgeous sunrises across Laguna Madre Bay. Padre Island is in the distance before you.
There is a 500 ft lighted fishing pier directly in front of the lodge.
